is important to have a good relationship with your masseur.
Although a masseur may be a experienced technician working on your
body, he is not a car mechanic! Communication and feeling safe is important for this treatment
to work. It can be a feast for the senses, but "sensual" massage should not breach
sexual boundaries
or it is no longer therapy.
That
is why Martin likes to make clear that although he is a friendly
and relaxed masseur: gay and straight, men and women and all ages
are welcome, but the focus of his therapy is therapeutic and remedial:

Committed
to maintaining his health, Martin McCloghry stopped working in a office
environment in Information Technology after some cycling injuries
were aggravated by stress.
He saw a London sports masseur and discovered how they help athletes
and non-athletes alike to cope with soft-tissue injuries, whether
stress-related or not.
Martin
has always enjoyed sports, especially rugby and cycling. He now
enjoys the excitement of biking (motorcycling). Needless to say,
as a biker he knows well the damage this sort of sport can inflict,
and has learnt how an experienced masseur can help. Recently,
he has taken up running, and has a weekly sports massage to help
his body recover and to avoid building up bad patterns of movement
that may cause imbalances and injuries.

He uses his anglo name for business,
rather than the gaelic name - on the principle that if his
patients can't spell his name they won't remember it!
McCloghry is derived from "Clough Righ" Stone of Kings or
king stone (the keystone of an arch). So Martin Kingston is
the trade name!
